Takin’ It To The Road…Or Air: Seattle Style #Foodiechats


Yo, yo, yo…exciting news!! Food (Just Sayin’) is hitting the road…I mean the air…straight to Seattle, Washington! From the 21st (tomorrow) to Friday, the 23rd, I’ll be live sharing all of the foodie fun hotspots I encounter, West Coast style. Most importantly, I’ll be live covering the FIRST EVER Thursday night #Foodiechats on Twitter! On the 22nd from 8pm to  9pm EST,  please join us on Twitter under the hashtag #Foodiechats. We’ll be having an exclusive conversation with Chef Rick Bayless and Negra Modelo. He, himself, will be doing a Q & A session, answering your questions about Mexican cuisine. As an added bonus, from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm PST (that’s 1:30 EST or 12:30 CST) on Thursday, I’ll be at the Palace Ballroom for the Seattle Chef’s Challenge. Negro Modelo has partnered with Chef Rick Bayless to inspire local chefs and restauranteurs to create a signature dish incorporating Negra Modelo. The event will include an interactive cooking demo, sampling of dishes and a challenge issued to all the chefs, encouraging them to create their own signature menu item featuring Negra Modelo. This is sure to be a creative, inspiring event so be sure to follow along!

  1. I have a cousin that lives in the area and he noted that this time of year (late August) is perfect because it doesn’t rain as much. Let me know if the coffee lives up to expectations.
